THE WAY OUT CHRISTMAS
REACHING 2350 MEN, WOMEN AND YOUTH WITH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
Each Christmas season The Way Out Prison Ministry has an outreach to the inmates inside the jails and facilities we serve. This is a time when hearts are tender and open to the touch of the Holy Spirit.
With your help, our chaplains and volunteers bring the Good News of Jesus Christ through a Christmas celebration. All the residents and staff are invited to participate. A worship team provides music and a local pastor shares from the Scripture the reason for the season. Afterward we pass out gift bags. The gift bag contains items that are common for us, but for the inmates are a real treat. The bag also contains the message of the Gospel and a response card.
For many this will be the first time they hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. They are your neighbors, friends and family. They will be returning to your community. Show them the love of Christ through this simple act of kindness.
